London 2017

October 14-21, 2017

With a quick train ride from Paris, we were able to spend time in London. If you go to either city, I highly recommend jumping on the train. It was fast, and I got to see two different places. Plus, how cute is this train stop!

What are the first things that come to mind when you hear the word “London”?

Mine is defiantly Red Phone Booths and, of course, Pubs! It wasn’t hard finding either once departing the train.

London was much different than Paris; so many bright lights and loud noises throughout the night made the city feel very alive. One of my highlights from London was seeing an original musical to the city, Wicked. IT WAS FANTASTIC!

London architecture (by now you should know I am into buildings and architecture)

Thee iconic London Eye (we did not ride it).

London originals; a red phone booth, double-decker red buses, and an underground sign.

Tell me it can’t get more London than that… I’ll be waiting.

If your first thought was the London Bridge, I’m sorry to say that you are wrong. This is actually the Tower Bridge and one of the most beautiful bridges I’ve seen. Funny enough, the London Bridge wasn’t much to look at.

While crossing the Tower Bridge you walk right on to the property at the Tower of London… more like an old base.

The entrance to London Tower and the barracks where the beefeaters stay within the walls.

Harrods, “the world-famous department store,” was filled with over 300 tiny luxury shops.
Beware, you cannot be dressed inappropriately if you want to enter the building.

Amazing, stunning, cultural London-esque buildings and sights around the city that give the full London feel.

Of course I had to be a tourist and get my Phone Booth photo shoot!

Another iconic thing to see in London is Big Ben. Sadly, we didn’t see much of the giant clock tower since it was under construction while we were there.

The city of London was so incredibly easy to photograph so here are more photos I had to add.

On our last day, we toured the guard’s equestrian center where we were able to walk through the barns and meet the horses, tour the history of the horse and carriages at Buckingham palace, and view the giant riding arena.

Finally, one of the most iconic places in the world; Buckingham Palace.
